Kayak Tour With Dolphins At Folly Beach
      386 Views . 21 Jul 2021

We decided to book a kayak tour with Charleston Outdoor Adventures. It was near Folly Beach, and we got a kayak tour with dolphins. It was so much fun, and our tour guide, Katie, knew so much about the dolphins and the ecosystems there. Charleston Outdoor Adventures is located right at the entrance of Folly Beach. We had a wonderful time. I love seeing dolphins in their natural habitat!

We spent some time in South Carolina and headed to Folly Beach in search of the Morris Island Lighthouse. Decommissioned in 1962, the lighthouse no longer provides a beacon for navigation. If you're ever in the area be sure to check out Folly Beach and the Morris Island Light. You won't be disappointed.

After my Train Odyssey 4, one of the museums I visited was the H.L. Hunley museum at the Warren Lasch Conservation Center in North Charleston, South Carolina. In this video of that visit, I allow the camera to dwell for a long time on fairly static images in order to allow the voice of the docent be heard as he describes various aspects of the Hunley and her history.

      0 Views . 20 Jul 2021

When you travel to Charleston, SC, there are a number of opportunities to see the various pre-Civil War plantations. We chose to visit Boone Hall Plantation founded in 1681 by Englishman Major John Boone. The Plantation has had a number of owners with the current owners purchasing in 1956. Joan and I would like to thank the McRae family for opening the beautiful plantation sharing 330 years of southern history. For more information about our travels, 5th wheel modifications and RV life, visit our website at www.iLoveRVlife.com. There are numerous RV sites from seasoned full-timers to wide ranging forums. Joan and I want to share a different perspective of RV living – where we started, where we’ve been and what we’ve done to make our RV life more enjoyable. We’ll take you from purchase to trips to those changes and additions to make our RV home. So welcome, stay awhile, share and we hope we’ll see you soon.
