In this video, join Gar and Ann from 2gethersomewhere explore the historic Fort Sumter National Monument, located at the mouth of Charleston Harbor in Charleston, South Carloina. This fort is where the first shots of the American Civil War were fired in 1861. Fort Moultrie is also near. Tickets for the ferry ride and tour to Ft. Sumter are $24 each and include a 1-hr tour of the fort which is on a small island facing the Atlantic ocean. On the ferry out, we were accompanied by a group of dolphins, playfully leading the ferry out to the island.
